CT&MathABLE is a project that strengthens the sustainability and capacity of European education by implementing innovative curricula. The project aims to promote important civic skills, digital competences and programming literacy required for digitalization.
LuKiVa
In 2026, the City of Helsinki’s early childhood education and preschool facilities will study supporting the literacy skills and interest in reading of 5- and 6-year-olds through the dialogic reading method and increasing the amount of reading.
EDUCA
The mission of the EDUCA – The Future of Education flagship is to generate new knowledge and create understanding about why learning outcomes are declining, why school absenteeism and dropout are increasing, and how technology is transforming teaching and learning.
MOE
MOE is a three-year development project (2021–2024) funded by the Technology Industries Centennial Foundation and the Finnish Cultural Foundation, which aims to promote the support of flexible and advanced mathematical thinking in primary school.
MUREA
In 2021, the University of Turku Research Institute for Learning Analytics, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology and Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Turku, and Haskins Laboratories, initiated a project to research and advance digital methods for assessing reading skills.
